Temecula Wine And Balloon Festival
A Trip To Remember For The Whole Family
Because of the Temecula Wine and Balloon Festival, taking a family trip was once hard thing to accomplish.
Almost every parent could go the rest of their lives without hearing” Its a small world” (again) but, you all have sat through it half a dozen times.
In contrast, your children would take a pass on seeing another State Park.
That’s why the Temecula Wine and Balloon Festival is a great idea. There is something for all ages at the festival. From wine to face paints. From food to balloon rides. From music to weddings, we have it all here.
Let us start with the balloons because people of all ages love them.
Even driving up to the lake it is hard for the driver not to watch. Keep your eyes on the road, though, there will be plenty of time for peeping once you park. Hot air balloons are universal. To adults, you picture a romantic flight through the clouds while defying gravity. For children they are seen as a magic coach prepared to whisk them away to make-believe lands.
Now, On To The Best Part Of The Trip, The Wine!
Hopefully you have a teenager that can be bribed to watch the kids a bit today.
Temecula Valley is right in the middle of Southern California Wine County, so you should be doing some sampling.
Maybe you want to start off with the famous wine gardens to taste some of the many regional wines while watching the balloons float by.
Even if you are not quite ready for the wine just yet there are still plenty of vendors to check out and maybe start your souvenir shopping.
If you have planned ahead you will have made dinner reservations. All three days of the festival offer a wonderful food and wine pairing.
It is a 3-course meal with each course prepared by a different local chef and served with the suggested wine. It is a very nice way to dine.
What About The Kid’s At The Wine & Balloon Festival?
Don't worry about the kids; they will be having a blast at Kid's Faire.
They have rides, inflatables, and even a climbing area. You can be sure they will want to have their face painted and then off to the petting zoo.
The kids will just love being able to pet all the critters and will love telling you about it later.
They do save the best for last each night. They do a balloon glow. At dark they tether their balloons across the hills then fire up the burners.
This makes them all glow in the gathering darkness, especially on the waters edge. This is a great way to end a great day at the Temecula Wine and Balloon Festival.
