Temecula Public Library

Computers And WiFi In Store

temecula The Temecula Public Library is not just a place to check out books.

This is where the entire community comes together for learning and fun.

The library has more than 40 computers available to the public.

There is even a separate section for children with computers loaded with software for kids. All of the other computers have Windows XP on them.

If you want to save any of the work that you have completed, you must bring a USB flash drive with you. You can also reserve a computer if you want too.

If you have your own notebook or laptop, bring it with you to connect to the WiFi network. This service is free to the public and there are no restrictions.

Something For Kids

temecula Did you know that your Public Library has story time for the kids? Well, they do.

A Pajama Story time, and a Bilingual story time are available as part of the Summer Reading Program.

Preschool story time (ages 3-5 years) and Toddler story time (ages 24 – 35 months), introduce young children to the joys of books and reading.

The kid’s section of the library has the following:

  • Board books for babies
  • Picture books
  • Beginning readers
  • Fiction for recreational reading
  • Magazines
  • Materials in Spanish and Asian languages
  • Recorded books
  • Compact discs, DVD's
  • Nonfiction and reference books
The Children’s Library also has 4 library catalogs, 7 Internet computers, and the coolest Live Homework Help.

This special computer keyboards for preschool children. This computer has educational software and has a parenting section, puzzles, puppets and a interactive displays.

The Technology & Homework Center

temecula The Tech Center has 24 computers to provide assistance to grades K-12.

Students can access 40 informational databases, use Microsoft Office Applications and do Internet research.

High School and Middle School textbooks are available for use within the Tech Center.

A flash drive is recommended if you need to save your work. Printing is also available at a cost of .15 cents for back and pages and .75 cents for color pages.

The Temecula Valley Unified School District Tutoring Program at the Tech Center offers tutoring provided by qualified High School student volunteers. No prior sign up is necessary.

Tutoring is given in a small group setting, and is free for K-12 students.

Tutoring focuses on core course subjects, such as English and Mathematics. Please check with the Tech Center for schedule and tutor availability. A weekly tutoring schedule is posted at the Technology & Homework Center.

Hours of operation for the Tech Center are on Sunday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm and Monday through Thursday from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.

Facilities At The Temecula Public Library

temecula Community Room
The library has 2 large meeting rooms that can be rented for use during the library's open hours. Each room can hold up to 100 people in a lecture style.

The two rooms can be combined Community room amenities include a small catering kitchen, a piano, projection equipment, and teleconferencing capability.

Small Conference/Study Room
The Small Conference Room has a conference table and seating for 8. It may be rented for small meetings during library hours. There are 4 rooms with conference tables and chairs for 6 people. Any time it has not been rented, library patrons may use it without charge for studying.

Grace Mellman Heritage Room
This elegant room can be rented for meetings of up to 12 people seated around a conference table. When the room has not been rented, library patrons may use the room to sit and read in large comfy chairs and enjoy the floor-to-ceiling fireplace.

Teleconferencing Room
With a unique integrated sound and video system, the Temecula Public Library raises the bar with their teleconferencing room.

The Temecula Public Library also offers other amenities on site. Please contact them for rates and availability.
