THE CHILD CENTERED HOME – A Premier Family Day Care

The Child Centered Home is a premier Family Day Care located in Temecula. We are licensed to serve children between 0-10 years of age, with 4 rooms set up for a stimulating day of play and learning. The children have opportunities for:

*Reading and Language Development
*Puzzles
*Dress Up and Dramatic Play
*Block Play
*Art
*Music
*Science & Sensory Play
*Math
*Outdoor/Large Motor Play
*Making Friends and Developing Social Skills

The Child Centered Home is open Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 6:00pm.  We offer 2, 3, 4, and 5 day a week schedules as well as daily drop-in care. Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack are provided for each child (including infants). Each child gets a Daily Experience Report at pick-up time documenting their activities for the day. Photos are taken of each child on a regular basis to document his/her growth and development in the program.

Tammy Meyer, the owner of  The Child Centered Home, has been an Early Childhood Educator for over 15 years. She holds a BA in Child Development and Family Studies, and a MA in Early Childhood Education. She is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and The National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC). Tammy started The Child Centered Home to create a stimulating educational environment for young children in a home-like setting. Tammy believes that children learn best when they feel comfortable, nurtured, and valued.
